3rd International Workshop: 3D Imaging, Analysis, Modeling and Simulation of Macroscopic Properties

The Centre de Morphologie Mathématique (Mines ParisTech, Institut Carnot M.I.N.E.S) and the Fraunhofer Institut für Techno und Wirtschaftsmathematik (Kaiserslautern) organise this international Workshop in Fontainebleau (France).

Sessions of presentations will be organised according to the following topics, covering various aspects of materials (composites, foams, porous media…) and of biomedical images (bones, tissues…):

• 3D imaging techniques
• Segmentation, processing, and analysis of 3D images
• 3D simulation of models of micro and nano structures
• Numerical prediction of macroscopic properties (electric, mechanical, acoustic, flow) from 3D images
